A Journey Fueled by Persistence and Parental Support - Dr. Girish Motwani

Dr. Girish Motwani, a Foot and Ankle Specialist Surgeon at Suyog Hospital in Nagpur, reflects on his journey in a recent article posted in the Lokmat newspaper. He attributes his persistence and determination to his father and draws inspiration from his mother's values and principles. Growing up in a modest family in Gondia, Dr. Motwani faced ordinary challenges but had unwavering support from his parents. Despite financial constraints, his mother dreamed of him becoming a doctor, and his father's hard work and his mother's determination fueled his own ambition. Overcoming various difficulties, he excelled in the Pre-Medical Test and pursued MBBS. With incredible support from his parents, he achieved a gold medal in Orthopedics from Government Medical College, Baroda. Further specializations in foot and ankle surgery took him to Birmingham and Chicago in the United States. Returning to India in 2016, he fulfilled his parents' dream by establishing Central India's first Foot and Ankle Suyog Hospital in Nagpur. The joy on his parents' faces during the hospital's inauguration marked a milestone in his tireless journey. Today, they share in his every happy moment, completing a fulfilling and rewarding chapter in Dr. Girish Motwani's life.
