Dr. Girish Motwani Co-Chairs Landmark Global Foot & Ankle Summit 2026 in Goa

Nagpur’s renowned Foot and Ankle Surgeon, Dr. Girish Motwani, recently achieved a global academic milestone as Course Chair of the inaugural Global Foot & Ankle Summit (GFAS) 2026, held at Novotel Dona Sylvia, Goa. Realizing a long-held vision alongside co-chair Dr. Rahul Upadhyay, the summit established one of the world’s largest academic platforms dedicated to advanced Foot and Ankle Orthopaedics.

The event was a massive success, bringing together 20 international faculty members and over 180 Indian specialists for a high-impact exchange of innovation and surgical expertise. A proud highlight of the summit was the awarding of the fully sponsored “Rajiv Shah – GFAS Fellowship” to two promising young surgeons, underscoring the summit's commitment to nurturing future talent. Supported by key industry partners and a dedicated organizing team, GFAS 2026 has successfully placed India at the center of global orthopedic collaboration.
